Money supply in June 2025

In June 2025, the M3 money supply increased by PLN 15.9bn. The increase was mainly driven by a rise in the deposits and other claims of non-financial corporations.

Data released by Narodowy Bank Polski on 22 July 2025 show that at the end of June 2025, the M3 aggregate amounted to PLN 2,585.8bn, i.e. PLN 15.9bn more than at the end of May 2025.

In June 2025, the value of deposits and other claims of the non-financial corporations sector included in the M3 aggregate increased by PLN 22.0bn, i.e. 4.3%, to PLN 538.1bn, and of the household sector – by PLN 1.6bn, i.e. 0.1%, to PLN 1,376.9bn. In the other financial institutions sector, their value fell by PLN 7.5bn, i.e. 9.5%, to PLN 71.2bn, and in the local government sector it decreased by PLN 4.6bn, i.e. 4.0%, to PLN 110.1bn.

The debt of the non-financial corporations sector increased by PLN 11.6bn, i.e. 2.7%, to PLN 444.6bn. The debt of the other financial institutions sector decreased by PLN 4.6bn, i.e. 2.0%, to PLN 220.6bn, and of the household sector – by PLN 0.2bn, to PLN 808.6bn. The net debt of the central government sector decreased by PLN 3.7bn, i.e. 0.8%, to PLN 488.4bn.
