Back side (reverse):
centrally, an image of the bust of Michał Ossowski in profile. Along the rim, from the bottom, clockwise from the left, the inscription: MICHAEL OSSOWSKI N.A. MDCCXLIII, ended with a full stop.
Front side (obverse):
along the rim, clockwise from the left, the inscription: RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA (Republic of Poland) and, following a separating pellet, the inscription: 50 ZŁ. At the bottom, the image of the Eagle established as the state emblem of the Republic of Poland. Below the Eagle, on the right, the Mint mark: m / w. On the sides of the Eagle, the notation of the year of issue: 20-25. Centrally, on a separated area, the inscription: CIVI UTILI / QUI ZELO BONI / PUBLICI DUCTUS / NOVAS COMMERCII / PATRII VIAS / DIDICIT ET DOCUIT / STAN: AUG: REX / SUO ET GRATÆ / PATRIÆ NOMINE / A. MDCCLXXXVII, ended with a full stop. Below the inscription, a caduceus, and, on the right and on the left, oak twigs.
