Description of the coin
Back side (reverse):
centrally, an image of the bust of Stanisław Konarski in profile. Along the rim, clockwise from the left, the inscription: STAN: KONARSKI. SCHOL: PIAR: IN. POL: F. T. LITU: ANTIQ: PRÆP. PROV, ended with a colon.
Front side (obverse):
along the rim, clockwise from the left, the inscription: RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA (Republic of Poland) and, following a separating pellet, the inscription: 50 ZŁ. At the bottom, the image of the Eagle established as the state emblem of the Republic of Poland. Below the Eagle, on the right, the Mint mark: m / w. On the sides of the Eagle, the notation of the year of issue: 20-26. Centrally, on a separated area, two books referring to Stanisław Konarski’s works “On the Improvement of Rhetoric Defects” and “On the Means of Effective Counsels”, decorated with an oak wreath. At the top, the semi-circular inscription: SAPERE AUSO, ended with a full stop, at the bottom, the inscription: STAN: AUG: REX. / MDCCLXV, ended with a full stop.
