Money supply in November 2024
In November 2024, the M3 money supply increased by PLN 18.4bn. The increase was mainly driven by a rise in deposits and other claims of households and non-financial corporations.
Data released by Narodowy Bank Polski on 23 December 2024 show that at the end of November 2024 the M3 aggregate amounted to PLN 2,433.7bn, i.e. PLN 18.4bn more than at the end of October 2024.
In November 2024, the value of deposits and other claims of the household sector included in the M3 aggregate increased by PLN 10.5bn, i.e. 0.8%, to PLN 1,304.6bn, and of the sector of non-financial corporations – by PLN 4.5bn, i.e. 0.9%, to PLN 509.0bn.
The debt of other financial institutions increased by PLN 4.4bn, i.e. 2.0%, to PLN 230.3bn. The debt of non-financial corporations increased by PLN 3.0bn, i.e. 0.7%, to PLN 422.5bn, household debt increased by PLN 0.4bn, i.e. 0.1%, to PLN 799.2bn, and the net debt of central government entities increased by PLN 3.7bn, i.e. 0.9%, to PLN 425.7bn.
