Money supply in October 2025
In October 2025, the M3 money supply increased by PLN 28.2bn. The increase was mainly driven by a rise in the value of deposits and other claims of non-financial corporations and households.
Data released by Narodowy Bank Polski on 25 November 2025 show that at the end of October 2025, the M3 aggregate amounted to PLN 2,670.9bn, i.e. PLN 28.2bn more than at the end of September 2025.
In October 2025, the value of deposits and other claims of the non-financial corporations sector included in the M3 aggregate increased by PLN 13.2bn, i.e. 2.4%, to PLN 562.8bn, and of the household sector – by PLN 8.8bn, i.e. 0.6%, to PLN 1,402.1bn.
The net debt of central government entities increased by PLN 22.0bn, i.e. 4.0%, to PLN 569.3bn, the non-financial corporate debt – by PLN 4.6bn, i.e. 1.0%, to PLN 459.1bn, and the household sector debt – by PLN 4.0bn, i.e. 0.5%, to PLN 824.9bn, whereas the debt of other financial institutions decreased by PLN 3.1bn, i.e. 1.5%, to PLN 197.2bn.
