Professor Adam Glapiński sworn in for his second term
On 22 June 2022 Professor Adam Glapiński was sworn in for the second term of office as NBP’s Governor.
Today Professor Adam Glapiński, Governor of Narodowy Bank Polski, was sworn in for the second six-year term of office as NBP’s Governor.
Professor Adam Glapiński took an oath before the Sejm of the Republic of Poland after his candidacy, submitted by Andrzej Duda, President of the Republic of Poland, was approved by the Public Finance Committee, and backed in voting by the Sejm of the Republic of Poland.
“Madam Speaker of the Sejm, Members of the Parliament! Assuming the duties of the Governor of Narodowy Bank Polski
I do solemnly swear that I will strictly observe the provisions of the Constitution and other laws and that in all my actions I will pursue the economic development of our Homeland and the well-being of its citizens. So help me God” – these were the words of the oath taken by the Governor of NBP.
