2019 coins with the face values of 10 grosz, 20 grosz, 50 grosz and 1 złoty at NBP Regional Branch cash desks

Referring to the announcement of 23 August 2021, Narodowy Bank Polski reminds you that since 1 September 2021 the cash desks at the NBP Regional Branches have been selling cupronickel-plated steel coins with the face values of 10 grosz, 20 grosz, 50 grosz and 1 złoty, all minted in 2019.

The 10 grosz, 20 grosz, 50 grosz and 1 złoty cupronickel-plated steel coins of 2019 will be sold until their stocks are exhausted as part of banking operations, in compliance with NBP internal regulations. At the same time, please be advised that the coins will also be available when buying collector items.

The list of the NBP Regional Branches

The cupronickel-plated steel coins for general circulation with the face values of 10 grosz, 20 grosz, 50 grosz and 1 złoty with the year of issue in 2019 have been minted in a volume of 1,000,000 pieces for each denomination, within the total volume of issue for each denomination of the aforementioned coins established in Regulation No. 34/2019 of the Governor of Narodowy Bank Polski of 12 December 2019 on establishing the design, alloy, weight and volume of issue of coins with the face values of 10 grosz, 20 grosz, 50 grosz and 1 złoty (MP [Official Gazette] of 2019, item 1188).

The coins for general circulation with the face values of 10 grosz, 20 grosz, 50 grosz and 1 złoty with the year of issue in 2019 have the same parameters as the cupronickel-plated steel coins for general circulation with the face values of 10 grosz, 20 grosz, 50 grosz and 1 złoty with the years of issues in 2020 and 2021.
