Meeting between Governor of NBP and Governor of the NBU
A meeting was held on 20 December 2022 between Prof. Adam Glapiński, Governor of Narodowy Bank Polski, and Mr Andriy Pyshnyy, Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine.
The meeting was also attended by Prof. Marta Kightley, First Deputy Governor of NBP, Ms Kamila Sukiennik, Director of the NBP General Management Department, Mr Jacek Kurski, Alternate Executive Director at the World Bank, and Ms Agata Łagowska, Director of the NBP International Department. The NBU Governor was accompanied by Mr Volodymyr Kuchyn, Director of the Office for European Integration, and Mr Vitalii Serhiichuk, representing the Office of the NBU Board.
The subject of the meeting was the close bilateral cooperation between the two banks and the outlook for its further progress – among others, on the international arena. Since the very first days of the war, NBP has been supporting the NBU in many areas and is willing to continue this assistance.
Зустріч Голови Національного банку Польщі з Головою Національного банку України
20 грудня відбулась зустріч, у якій взяли участь професор Адам Глапінський, Голова Національного банку Польщі, та пан Андрій Пишний, Голова Національного банку України.
На зустрічі була присутня також професор Марта Кайтлі, Перший заступник Голови НБП, Каміла Сукєннік, Директор Кабінету Голови НБП, Яцек Курський, заступник Виконавчого директора у Світовому банку, та Агата Лаговська, Директор Закордонного департаменту в НБП. Голову НБУ супроводжував Володимир Кухин, Директор Бюро у справах європейської інтеграції та Віталій Сергійчук, працівник Кабінету Голови НБУ.
Темою зустрічі була тісна двостороння співпраця між банками, а також перспективи її подальшого розвитку, зокрема, на міжнародній арені. НБП з перших днів війни підтримує НБУ у багатьох сферах та виражає готовність і надалі продовжувати надавати свою допомогу.
