Born in Warsaw on 15 December 1978.

Graduate of International and Political Relations at the Warsaw School of Economics and the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. In 2007, he obtained a doctorate in Economics from the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw, where he worked in the Department of Public Sector Economics. He has cooperated with Collegium Civitas in Warsaw since 2003. In the years 2015–2016, he served as Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Collegium Civitas. In the years 2008–2014, he was assistant professor in the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

He deals with public finances, special purpose funds, and taxes and other burdens on enterprises. A longtime associate of the Adam Smith Centre, in the years 2005–2009 he was an expert of the Jagiellonian Institute. He was awarded a scholarship from McKinsey&Company and the Lesław A. Paga Foundation.

On 17 February 2016, the President of the Republic of Poland appointed Dr. Kamil Zubelewicz to the Monetary Policy Council.
