Wieslawa Ziolkowska holds the degree of doctor habilitatus in economics and is a professor at Poznan College of Banking. She is the author of a number of publications relating to economic policy and finance, including three books. She also has many years of business experience. In the years 1989-97, she served as a Deputy to the Polish Sejm. She was deputy chairperson and then chairperson of the Sejm Economic Policy, Budget and Finance Commission. She is a member of the Research Council of the Polish Economics Society.
Wieslawa Ziolkowska is married with one daughter.
