Study visit: National Bank of Ukraine to the Payment Systems Department

The representative of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) participated in a meeting with the experts from the NBP Payment Systems Department.

The guest had an opportunity to discuss the perspectives of the Ukraine integration with the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA). Despite the fact that the NBU was ready to submit a legal opinion to the European Payment Counsil by the end of April 2023 the issue of technical integration of Ukrainian PSPs with SEPA infrastructure remained unresolved. The goal of the meeting was to provide the information about needs, plans, scenarios for consideration by Narodowy Bank Polski the possibility of providing for NNBU settlement services for Ukrainian CSM for SCTs in Euro.
