Study visit: National Bank of Ukraine to the Accounting and Finance Department

Five representatives of the National Bank of Ukraine, including NBU Deputy Governor, participated in the study visit dedicated to Eurosystem accounting rules which took place on 7 and 8 August 2023.

The event drew upon such issues as accounting policy for income recognition, for recognition and valuation of transactions in foreign currency and accounting policy for debt securities.

Additionally, the NBU representatives had an opportunity to discuss the accounting policy for debt securities and accounting for tangible and intangible assets.
