The Financial Transactions Settlement Department is responsible for tasks related to the performance of settlements and recording of operations related, in particular, to NBP’s foreign exchange reserves management.

Moreover, the Financial Transactions Settlement Department:

  • operates accounts for foreign operations settlement,
  • manages liquidity on NBP foreign currency accounts,
  • performs settlements and operates accounts for the operations with the International Monetary Fund,
  • performs tasks relating to public levies in the area of foreign exchange reserves management.
