The Foreign Exchange Department performs tasks related to the management of the official foreign exchange reserves.

Other tasks of the Foreign Exchange Department include:

investing foreign exchange reserves, developing current investment concepts,
setting exchange rates of foreign currencies against the zloty (excluding the euro exchange rate, set by the Domestic Operations Department),
managing current financial risk related to investment operations.
