The Foreign Exchange Department performs tasks related to the management of the official foreign exchange reserves.

Other tasks of the Foreign Exchange Department include:

  • investing foreign exchange reserves, developing current investment concepts,
  • setting exchange rates of foreign currencies against the zloty (excluding the euro exchange rate, set by the Domestic Operations Department),
  • managing current financial risk related to investment operations.
