The Public Procurement and Purchasing Department carries out tasks related to the preparation and application of procurement procedures, including public procurement. The tasks of the Public Procurement and Purchasing Department also include:

  • representing NBP before the Polish Public Procurement Office and the National Appeals Chamber in matters related to public procurement procedures,
  • developing the principles and organisation of purchases and defining the types of purchases for which central purchases need to be performed at NBP,
  • implementing and developing the digitisation of purchase processes at NBP.
