The Security Department is responsible for planning and coordinating tasks related to the security of people, property and information at Narodowy Bank Polski. The tasks of the Security Department also include:

  • operating the National Certification Centre and managing the Public Key Infrastructure in NBP’s telecommunications systems,
  • planning systemic solutions and solutions concerning security at NBP,
  • preparing drafts of principles and methodologies and carrying out analytical tasks concerning operational risk at NBP,
  • carrying out and protecting transports of cash and valuables.
