Money supply in November 2022
In November 2022, the M3 money supply increased by PLN 10.7bn. The increase was mainly driven by a rise in deposits and other claims of households and non-financial corporations.
Data released by Narodowy Bank Polski on 22 December 2022 show that at the end of November 2022 the M3 aggregate amounted to PLN 2,082.0bn, i.e. PLN 10.7bn more than at the end of October 2022.
In November 2022, the value of deposits and other claims of the household sector included in the M3 aggregate increased by PLN 6.8bn, i.e. 0.6%, to PLN 1,060.2bn, of the sector of non-financial corporations – by PLN 6.4bn, i.e. 1.4%, to PLN 458.8bn, and of the sector of social security funds – by PLN 2.6bn, i.e. 23.1%, to PLN 14.0bn.
Non-financial corporate debt fell by PLN 8.6bn, i.e. 2.0%, to PLN 424.6bn, while household debt decreased by PLN 4.4bn, i.e. 0.5%, to PLN 801.4bn. The net debt of central government entities rose by PLN 2.3bn, i.e. 0.7%, to PLN 325.9bn.
